News in Brief: Head of Gryffindor Made Honorary Hufflepuff

At a lavish vegetarian ceremony held in the banquet room of The Three Broomsticks last Thursday, Hogwarts Professor and Head of Gryffindor House Neville Longbottom was named an honorary Hufflepuff. Citing his loyalty and hard-working devotion to herbology, Professor Emeritus P. Sprout presented the award. The ceremony corresponded with the opening of twelve new greenhouses on the Hogwarts grounds, funded by donations from Professor Longbottom's best-selling "for Klutzes" book series. Cooking Herbs for Klutzes, the latest book in the series, also funded renovations to the Hufflepuff common room. Professor Longbottom expressed feelings of honor and surprise, "I don't know what could have inspired them."
